The MetadefNamespace Class

The MetadefNamespace class inherits from Resource.

class openstack.image.v2.metadef_namespace.MetadefNamespace(_synchronized=False, connection=None, **attrs)

The base resource

Parameters:

  • _synchronized (bool) – This is not intended to be used directly. See new() and existing().

  • connection (openstack.connection.Connection) – Reference to the Connection being used. Defaults to None to allow Resource objects to be used without an active Connection, such as in unit tests. Use of self._connection in Resource code should protect itself with a check for None.

resources_key = 'namespaces'

Plural form of key for resource.

base_path = '/metadefs/namespaces'

The base part of the URI for this resource.

allow_create = True

Allow create operation for this resource.

allow_fetch = True

Allow get operation for this resource.

allow_commit = True

Allow update operation for this resource.

allow_list = True

Allow list operation for this resource.

allow_delete = True

Allow delete operation for this resource.

delete_all_properties(session)

Delete all properties in a namespace.

Parameters:

session – The session to use for making this request

Returns:

The server response

delete_all_objects(session)

Delete all objects in a namespace.

Parameters:

session – The session to use for making this request

Returns:

The server response

add_tag(session, tag)

Adds a single tag to the resource.

Parameters:

  • session – The session to use for making this request.

  • tag – The tag as a string.

set_tags(session, tags, append=False)

Sets/Replaces all tags on the resource.

Parameters:

  • session – The session to use for making this request.

  • tags (list) – List with tags to be set on the resource

  • append – If set to true, adds new tags to existing tags, else overwrites the existing tags with new ones.
