New Features

• The heat class now has two new parameters rabbit_use_queue_manager and rabbit_stream_fanout.

• The following parameters have been added to the heat class.

  • region_name_for_shared_services

  • shared_services_types

• The heat::keystone::auth class now adds the service role by default. Set the roles parameter not to add the role.

Upgrade Notes

• The heat::keystone::auth_cfn class no longer supports management of the dedicated keystone user for CFN API. Use the common heat user instead.

• Puppet 7 is no longer supported. Use Puppet 8 instead.

• The heat::rabbit_heartbeat_in_pthread parameter has been removed.

• The heat::clients::sahara class has been removed.

• The heat::logging::watch_log_file parameter has been removed.

Deprecation Notes

• The following paramters, related to legacy engine, have been deprecated and will be removed in a future release.

  • heat::enable_stack_abandon

  • heat::enable_stack_adopt

  • heat::engine::convergence_engine

• The following parameters of the heat::api class and the heat::api_cfg class have been deprecated and has no effect now.

  • bind_host

  • bind_port
