New Features

• The following parameters have been added to the ceilometer::coordination class.

  • manage_backend_package

  • package_ensure

• The following parameters have been added to the ceilometer::agent::polling class.

  • prometheus_tls_enable

  • prometheus_tls_certfile

  • prometheus_tls_keyfile

• The ceilometer class now has two new parameters rabbit_use_queue_manager and rabbit_stream_fanout.

• The ceilometer::keystone::auth class now adds the service role by default. Set the roles parameter not to add the role.

Upgrade Notes

• Puppet 7 is no longer supported. Use Puppet 8 instead.

• The ceilometer::rabbit_heartbeat_in_pthread parameter has been removed.

• The ceilometer::agent::polling::tenant_name_discovery parameter has been removed.

• The ceilometer::logging::watch_log_file parameter has been removed.

Deprecation Notes

• The ceilometer::http_timeout parameter has been deprecated and will be removed in a future release.
