New Features

• The following classes have been added, to support configuring options used by the castellan library.

  • octavia::key_manager

  • octavia::key_manager::barbican

  • octavia::key_manager::barbican::service_user

• The new octavia::host parameter has been added.

• The octavia class now has two new parameters rabbit_use_queue_manager and rabbit_stream_fanout.

• The octavia::keystone::auth class now adds the service role by default. Set the roles parameter not to add the role.

Upgrade Notes

• Puppet 7 is no longer supported. Use Puppet 8 instead.

• The octavia::rabbit_heartbeat_in_pthread parameter has been removed.

• The octavia::logging::watch_log_file parameter has been removed.

Deprecation Notes

• The octavia::roles class has been deprecated. It will be removed in a future release.

• The following parameters of the octavia::api class have been deprecated and have no effect now.
