Prelude

This release supports the latest OpenStack Swift release for 2026.2. It also contains minor improvements related to java dependecies.

Upgrade Notes

• The simple-json library has been replaced by the gson library due to its maintenance status. Make sure that the jar file is available at the path exposed to storlet containers.

• Storlet containers no longer need the executable scripts for python-written agents, and now uses python modules directly to launch agents. The /usr/local/libexec/storlets directory is no longer necessary.
